they say time heals everything, but im still waiting. 20 years has gone by. where does the time really go? 20 years and it still feels like just yesterday that we were all riding down a back road, seeing what animals we could see, and listening to music. 20 years ago, i lost my dad...the one man that i knew would have my back forever...the one that i knew would never let anything happen to me...the glue that held our family together. im still just as devastated today as i was 20 years ago. though, now, i find myself realizing that youre exactly where you wanna be...right up there with mom, smiling down and still surrounding us with love, especially when we need it the most. i miss you, daddy, more than words could ever say, i love you so much. always, your little girl.
