thinking about a conversation that my son and i had recently. he says to me hey daddy, you promised to me that you would have your GED before i graduate high school, thats not acceptable. you should have your associates degree before i graduate high school, no more excuses. i told him that i cant pass that math to save my life. he then says to me well i will tutor you and assist you in saving your future . i was floored by this. hes always on me about getting a college degree. the proudest moments come when he has to write a poem for class and he always says to me daddy, im just a natural at poetry, i get that from you. its a wonderful thing to have your child validate and support you. needless to say, that ged will soon be mine.
