this doesnt involve an iowa track but did involve an Iowa driver. Back in the mid 90s(thinking 1996) there was a modified driver that took a wild ride at the Jackson, MN speedway. He rolled about half way down the front stretch, sending parts flying onto the grandstand roof. Not sure how many times he rolled, but he rolled violently enough that it broke the roll cage. Pretty sure it knocked him out briefly as he didnt move right away. He was ok afterwards. Believe it was a Harris car.
