this exciting event made our morning interesting in trying to leave the Rio all-suite Hotel in Las Vegas to get to the airport. The area at the bottom of the elevators for our tower was where the suspect was shot and killed. When I went down to check out it was like CSI: Las Vegas, in the area. They had police and security at every corner and doorway they had the area blocked off from people and Detoured us towards employee corridors. Then as they clear the area, so no one came near the area, they shut down the Hotel elevators. We had to take the service elevator and go through the employee core doors to the outside and back into the hotel to the front desk area.
