this is a little girl were calling Iggy, rather than giving her a real name, whos boarding with us til we take her to the no-kill shelter in St Augustine on Tuesday. she was roaming the streets in our hood... dumped, presumably. David picked her up and she spent one evening on our patio but found her way out of the fence overnight, probably trying to go home. she was picked up from the middle of the street the next day by animal control and retrieved by David from the pound... bow-legged from poor nutrition in puppyhood, untrimmed nails growing sideways because of the bowed legs, yeast infection responsible for a terrible skin condition, hungry and thirsty. they trimmed her nails and pulled a bad tooth at the vets but pronounced her heart and lungs healthy. Cass took to her right away, Riley completely avoids her. I bathed her with special shampoo but finally rubbed olive oil on her skin to relieve the itching. shes a sweetheart and of course wed love to keep her, but no more three dogs... two is a houseful
