this is absolutely a disgrace .I say something to that factor every time i see a commercial about feeding or sending money to other countries.I will never under stand why Americans had rather take care of other countries before their own. And when somebody is in need , I always hear smart remarks like they ought to get a job or they ought to be ashamed asking for money or food. But yet these are the ones that think nothing of pulling out the checkbook or debit card , I guess so they can brag to their friends how much they sent. The people that have never had much and live day to day think nothing of helping a neighbor or friend or someone they dont know when ever they can and never ask for anything in return . The only problem I see with this is there is not enough of these real Americans apparently to make a difference . next time one of you ,and you know who you are pulls out your debit card to make a difference somewhere else please dont instead go to your nearest salvation army and ask to help serve dinner for Christmas, it is a very humbling experience, or give money to a local church or give 5. bucks to a real homeless person .or pick a name from the salvation armys Christmas list for children and fill it on what you can afford.I guarantee you this these suggestions no matter which one you pick will make you feel good about yourself, and you will know that you really did make a difference to someone.
