this is an interesting thing about premium priced products. take, for example, handbags, ones that are $30 vs $300. the ones that are $300 are not that much, if any, better than the lower priced ones. the difference is price and brand. why do people pay more? two main reasons: 1) to show u to their friends that they can afford it. 2) to feel like they belong to the upper class - gives them a good feeling. therefore, to create a premium brand, you literally have to OVERPRICE your products.
