this is for me more than for you all. but youre welcome to read... 20 years ago today.... in a hospital in the bahamas after a moped accident with a whole in my skull, subdermal hemotoma,bleeding out, stroke, seizures died 2x. within a couple hours in the emergency room an american intern told Dave that he needed to get me back to the states or i wouldnt make it thru the nite. he rented a leer jet and 3 emts and flew me to lauderdale, where i lay in a coma in icu. woke up 5 days later to Dave sleeping on the floor on top of our luggage. hardly remember a thing from that time , put i will never forget how he looked when he heard my voice.... it wasnt easy for a long time , many years and $300,000 ( hospital fees). later here we are... so very blessed to have his support and belief in me. it was so difficult the first few years , recognizing my limitations ,strengths and weaknesses. had to learn it all over again, walk ,talk, read write... there are still residuals from it all ,but thats okay, its good to reminded of what happened and how far i have come . others may be brought down by all this , but not Dave and I . rise to the challenge ! hardwork !,fortitude !, and a sense of humor ! Life is Precious! live each moment fully and completely. make it matter! Love YOUR Life !
