this is my controversial, heretic like, view on hell. the word - TopicsExpress

this is my controversial, heretic like, view on hell. the word for hell means gehenna. Gehenna was a place outside jerusalem where they burned bodies and stuff. It is clear that Jesus spoke of, warned, and went into detail about hell. He described it as a place of suffering, torment, and destruction. Jesus didnt say if you believe in Him youd be saved from hell, nor did He say if you believe in Him youd be saved into heaven. He said no one comes to the Father but by Him. Jesus didnt pray for you to be in heaven, He prayed for you to be where He is.... in the Father. Jesus didnt pray for you to be saved from hell. The apostles never preached a Gospel of salvation from hell. the only times hell is mentioned in the epistles, is in peter(tartarus) and jude and in both its describing a place where the angels who disobeyed went, with men they describe something physical like noahs flood and sodom and gomorrha. Jerusalem and israel are a biblically huge deal, like HUGE DEAL, and they were destroyed. Jerusalem burned in 70ad. How many scriptures talk about that? Jesus compared hell to the kingdom of God, even tho the kingdom of God does not come with special observation neither shall they say lo here! or lo there! for the kingdom is within/amidst/among you. Jesus said it is better to enter life/the kingdom with one hand, than with both to hell. the jews had ideas of a fire hell, even tho their scriptures(torah does not). Jesus said they have made the word of God of none effect by their traditions/traditions of men. Jesus goes in to great detail about hell with the rich man and lazarus the beggar. they both died and lazarus went to the bosom of [ABRAHAM] and the rich man was in hell(hades) burning an unbearable torment asking and pleading for one drop of water. the rich man pleaded abraham to let lazarus go back to warn his(the rich mans) 5 brothers to repent, but abraham said no, if they dont believe moses, they wouldnt even believe if someone raised from the dead. Jesus spoke in parables. Lazarus died and and was put in a tomb, and many jews were there including caiaphas. Caiaphas had 5 brothers, Jesus was there and lazarus was raised from the dead. they tried to kill Jesus so word wouldnt keep spreading(Jesus said if they believed moses they would believe Him for moses wrote of Him). Parable explained? i think Jesus was using [their] tradition to make a point. He used their hell to make a point. Just about EVERY passage of hell in the 4 Gospels, if you examine CLOSELY you will find stuff you maybe havent seen before OR purposely ignored. thats it for now, icould write about the lake of fire too but it would take too long.... this i know... the bible says God IS Love... if God created an eternal hell, then His justice should be okay to mimic. But its not and the Holy Spirit in you throws you the red light when you do something similiar... go scream to someones face that they are going to hell to be tormented forever and you will feel the red light. this is such a scary topic to talk about, but if your honest then whats wrong. Society has made this suh a scary topic... why dont we stick with to dust we shall return?... and immortality has been brought to Light thru the Gospel..? this is another thing, the bible was written 2,000 years ago(and older), it was written to people with a completely different culture and probably even a different culture than the jews today!.... when Jesus said eat my flesh and drink my blood, to the original audience they would have heard come into covenant with me. think about that... we understand bcuz were on this side of the cross, but they were on the other side and would have understood. the sun shall be darkned, and the moon will not give its light. i saw a woman clothed with the sun standing on the moon.. peter kill, eat never Lord! i have never eaten anytihng unclean.... whether there is an atual (hell)lake of fire and eternal (hell)lake of fire i dont know. but the aposltes didnt preach it, and they were ambassadors of Christ and ministers of the New Covenant. and so are you. this is what i believe salvation is... the prodigal son playing in the muck, lost, hungering, lonely, depressed, stranded, willing to die now home with his Father filled, happy, at home, comfortable, in Union, and safe. Jesus is Savior!
