this is one of the few albums that actually scared the shit out of me the first time i heard it. its moody green haze totally caught me off guard and the near collapse of all the songs driven on stranger melodies than before. the end of the eighties tore a bite sized hole in my view of what composition was, let alone the diehard cookie cutter of song writing. thankfully this album was one of them.
