this is right a DNR is not a all out do not care for the patient it just means do not try to do anything that would bring them back or attempts to save their life, now you do and should do comfort care, just not that but if they are spiritual give or ask if they would wish for a prayer, I have done this, and my patients state no one has done that for them before, religion is a slippery slope but it never hurts to ask.
