this is the concept art for what Jet Li will look like in his new film, “The Investiture of the Gods” aka “Feng Shen Bang.” The film will also star Shu Qi, Loius Koo, Angelababy and Tony Leung Ka Fai. To add to the intrigue, it’ll be co-directed by Wilson Yip (director of “Ip Man”) and Koan Hui (assistant director on “Who Am I?” and “Black Mask”). The story tells of how King Zhou of Shang (Tony Leung) becomes a tyrant due to the wiles of Daji (Shu Qi), a vixen spirit who is disguised as one of his concubines. After a series of battles involving mythological intervention, King Zhou of Shang is overthrown by King Wu of Zhou and his strategist Jiang Ziya (Jet Li).
