this is the cray-cray. (are the kids still using that word?) american teacher gets stabbed to death in the middle of the day in a mall restroom in AD. by someone in full abaya/shayla. all captured on CC camera. (violent crime is very rare in the UAE.) creepy considering a state dept advisory for US citizens to be aware of threats against *teachers.* then, the ministry of interior releases this video of the hunt and capture of the suspects, complete with bloody steering wheel and bomb-making apparatus, a sort of transparency unheard of in the UAE. (nevermind the overdramatic dark knight soundtrack.) still unknown on Law & Order: Abu Dhabi, motive ... stay tuned.
