this is the sort of show that makes me love booking music. ive had the opportunity this summer to book some old musical friends who have been playing music as long as ive been promoting it. One of the first shows i ever booked at Chandlers for an out of town band was for Eyes For Telescopes (from PEI) Dan Currie was a part of that band. fantastic rock guitarist. Couple years later at the first Gobblefest afterparty at the Capri, Dan jammed with Jay Smith, Mike Le Lievre and i beleive Devon Strang on drums....one of the best impromptu jams ive ever witnessed. Tonight will be bit more chill, but the talent is unmistakable. Katies fantastic too, old soul country music with a modern pop twist, and Daniel Baldwin writes some really sincere poignant tunes as well. just a gem of a show you shouldnt miss.
