this ones and oldn but thought i would dust it off for you. any feed back is appreciated The 7 hours that separates you from me Isn’t as bad as it really could be You see a half a day’s travel isn’t bad for me But had you lived in New York you’d be killing me We’d make promises of what it would be Just to fill in those holes in our hearts But since there are no holes for us to stumble in We’ll grasp each other with our whole hearts Making promises to one another every now and then Portrayed in postage stamps and postcards Looking up at night and seeing the same stars Shooting at one another from you to me We’ll make wishes to see one another Either by planes trains or cars You’ll never be that far from me You see swimming in your eyes comes naturally Even though I impulse to swim in them Drowning there would be worth everything to me I don’t know what it is you see in me But im not one to go around questioning Cause I still cant fathom how I have gotten so lucky Finding someone who likes me for me Is something I thought I would never see Even though knowing you is new to me It is something that has happened finally Status updates while picturing you with me Was common between us unknowingly Between our mutual love for music and coffee and the way you always complementing me makes me feel like I am who I want to be
