this pattern is repeated all over the world. Investment in infrastructure creates wealth for more people and aids prosperity overall. Disinvestment in infrastructure and cutting of that investment (taxes) of those who owe more because they benefit more (the rich) always leads to less development and prosperity over all. Taxes are investment in society and prosperity. NOT paying taxes justly is a form of theft via fraud.
