this week my husband & i tried to help out an acquaintance who had fell on hard times & became homeless. yesterday i began to reach my wits end but Drew was moved to help a little more and assist the acquaintance with getting into the shelter this morning. later we stop by the shelter to check on him & we found out the acquaintance had been refused housing from the shelter because he walked off and missed his name calling & had got into an altercation with someone else while there. on the way home, we spot him on the corner and pull over. drew walks over to scream on him and i remain in the car. as i am slightly leaned out of the window to hear the conversation, a man in a wheelchair rides by. the man abruptly stops and begins to approach the car, he begins to speak to me in a harsh tone get the f off the property, this is private property, if you dont like it sue me he continues to say this 3 times i respond politely sir, im sorry, i didnt know. ill move the car no problem. he continues to repeat himself for a 4th time as i enter the drivers seat, i notice that he has a big picture of a red horned demon on his shirt. i move the car closer to Drew and hear the acquaintance lying about what happened at the shelter. Drew wraps up the conversation and returns to the car. Drew starts telling me about the talk he just had, saying i told him how pride was in his way and how Yahuwah would let the devil get him if he continued to be rebellious i tell Drew about the guy with the demon shirt forcing us to leave. did the devil just tell us to leave this acquaintance alone? i think so. as i am writing this post, i glance at the tv to see a scene from constantine where an exorcism is occurring. call us crazy but thats more revelation to this. the demon shirt guy told me to sue him if i didnt like it. now im glad Drew did pull over even after i said nah keep rolling, the acquaintance needed to be held accountable for his actions and faced with the truth (sued). we are done and have learned that you can not help everyone. we hope the seeds we planted during his tenure with us will grow one day, but it doesnt get no realer than the devil himself rolling up on you, telling you to scram. real talk Drew Swiff
