this will be my last week as State Senator Diane Savinos Deputy Chief of Staff. I have accepted a position as vice president of the Black Car Fund, a workmens compensation, insurance, advocacy and welfare fund head quartered at 30 Wall Street. After 16 years in direct constituent service with elected officials serving Staten Island, New York City and New York State; I will now look out for the interests of drivers of for hire vehicles, namely limos and town cars. These mostly recent immigrants are for the first time owning and operating their own businesses as they own at a minimum a % of their vehicle(s). I look forward to remaining active in the Staten Island political scene as a member of the Executive Board and as the President of the North Shore Democratic Club of Staten Island. I want to thank Senator Savino for the last 5 years of opportunity to serve Staten Island and South Brooklyn through her office, which is filled with amazing hardworking people and a wonderful caring Senator.
