Please think of this, organizations like goodwill skirt labor laws so they can pay mentally disabled and disabled folks 1 to 2 bucks and claim they are job creaters thus getting federal money also, their stores are for profit they give back the lowest perscentage to the people they help, the salvation army is a religious cult that has been in trouble with the irs and internationally, they are extremely anti gay and use the majority of their money for their top leaders, from homes for them to salaries, feed the children is also one of the most corrupt. Friends Food Pantry It is far far from just a food pantry, they help both here and internationally with their program, they aid folks here with getting them set in life and a hand UP, not just a hand OUT, Mary Arbuckle works tirelessly to help the community but pretty much anyone that comes across her path in life, Stephen ORourke helps manage and organize the vast system of the pantry, the many helpers that volunteer there doing tons of work daily all for what? To help. There is no huge amounts of money going to the top folks it all goes directly to the program to the people. All 4 One Rescue Amazing group with a small number of tireless volunteers that let their hearts rule their lives and care for mainly elder dogs but they do have younger ones from time to time, but many of their pups are the throw aways of the throw aways, the ones that we go oh cute, then we cringe a bit when we hear the age. These folks see past that and know that no matter the age of the dog if they can provide one moment of time in that animals years left where they are safe and loved they do. Pet Angels Rescue An extremely good group whose leader has spent so many years helping and healing. you can donate to whomever you wish and for whatever reason, from the heart or for taxs or for both, just think about who really uses the money where it goes and how it is used. and where it can do the most good.
