though i have not met britt posmer in person, i asked her last week if she would like to write an introduction for the book i have been creating with the poetry of dorothy wallters. i take poets license here by sharing part of dorothys response: Dear Rashani, Britts piece is gorgeous. I am stunned and humbled and honored and exalted all at the same time. She is indeed a fantastic writer––capturing in words that which is essentially ineffable. I am ever grateful to meet her and witness her gifts. Please let her know how much I treasure this response. From my point of view, I dont see the need to change a single word or syllable. But, of course, if she wants to tweak it, that is authors privilege. (We always seem to want to make it better.) P. S. I would love to know more about Britt--where she lives, how you two met, what her background as a writer is––and if she does not mind, how old she is and her spiritual path (only, of course, if she is comfortable with sharing such information.) I hope this is not being too nosey but not many like her come along these days. She indeed is a rare find. It seems like there is a constant flow of blessings these days. May they continue to unite (and ignite) each of us and spread joy over the world. First, the treasure of discovering you––now Britt. (also the lovely gift of words from Patricia). How much happiness can I bear? Dorothy
