three years i befriended comic book dave at a yard sale here in kingman,he was a comic book store owner and part time gun dealer,we traded collectables and became friends,one day at the swapmeet i saw he had a booth,there were guns on his table,he asked if i wanted to buy a fire arm,i stated i did not know if i could as i had been busted for cocaine in florida in the late 80s,he said meet him at his house later that day,i did,he asked for my drivers license and social security card,took a copy.said he would call me in three days with an answer,three days later. he called and said everything was cool,i traded him a franklin mint scrabble set for a ruger 22 mag rifle,and as i was a doomsday prepper it fit into my survival gear,over the next that same gun traded back and forth between us four more times,he also sold more guns a pistol and an SKS,when nothing happened dec.21,20012 i told him i was broke and want to get rid of my guns as i didnt have use for them any more,i did not know he was in trouble for guns,well he was,i was arrested for a felon in possession of a firearm,the federal charges were dismissed,and six months i was charged on the same charges by the state,on my second public defender and still haven,t been contacted,facing twenty yearsi just cannot plead to a felony at 59 years old,i have two honorable discharges,and havent been in any trouble in over 30 years,my next court date is oct 6,130p.m. superior court #3 judge conn,any support would be appreciated,dan braden
