to my football and/or rugby fan friends. upon the news of Jarryd Hayne leaving the highest rugby contract in Australia to try the NFL (Seahawks?), i ask-- is there anything you see in this 62 220 lb guy that translates to the NFL? this isnt a knock on rugby by any means. it is simply a very different game. game flow, play calling, off ball play, tackling style, coverage/blocking schemes, etc. the only rugby player ive ever seen that may have pulled it off (outside of a punter or kicker) was Lomu simply based on his speed, size and instinct as a running back. https://youtube/watch?v=8Z3czxb75Ng
