to my other half, I hope one day soon to meet you, to know you. My years until this day have been preparation for you. I can only surmise that you are a complicated soul, for I have indeed been through trials abundant making ready for your presence. There is comfort in knowing that I am no longer shaken by the trivial, am not swayed by the sudden, and can find joy and laughter in even the most trying times. I hope with all that is within once we have found each other, that life will be a beautiful a thing to be conquered and experienced to its fullest together. I will be your rock, now made solid and stable as this life has refined my actions, and wish for you to be as free to believe in all your heart seeks without harshness from me. I hope that in your travels to find me, that life has been kind. I deign to think of what readiness was needed to prepare for a life by my side, but I will hold you tight if any memory haunts. I pray one day that we may find a wholeness together that rises beyond individual strength. I hope to find you in this vast sea of earth, and that the connection is immediate so as to hold few uncertainties. I risk all when I fall, and hope against hope when I do, that you have learned how to catch.
