My beliefs were BS & dissolved before my eyes. 2. What happens when we die? Probably nothing, we cease to exist. I dont know & neither do you. 3. What if you’re wrong? And there is a Heaven? And there is a HELL! Well, I guess that depends on what god(s) rule. If the god is moral I imagine I will be in heaven. If the god is a prick then I suppose hell but then again, no good god would have a hell. 4. Without God, where do you get your morality from? The same place you do, a combination of nature & nurture. Evolution + societys mores & values. 5. If there is no God, can we do what we want? Are we free to murder and rape? While good deeds are unrewarded? Wow, bad wording for a reporter. If you are immoral & a sociopath I guess you do whatever you want. Since most of us arent either of those things we live by our conscience. I actually rape & murder all I want which means I have never done either. 6. If there is no god, how does your life have any meaning? I give my life meaning. I have no need for an invisible magic person to do it for me. I didnt even need that when I was a wee one. Again I say wow, get a life. 7. Where did the universe come from? I dont know & neither do you. 8. What about miracles? What all the people who claim to have a connection with Jesus? What about those who claim to have seen saints or angels? People think they see lots of things all the time because they dont understand how our brain works. An education via Derren Brown may fix the majority of their delusions. I have never heard of a verified supernatural event. 9. What’s your view of Dawkins, Hitchens and Harris? All three are brilliant men with flaws. It may be hard for the religious to understand but atheists dont have prophets. We dont put people on pedestals. We dont require perfection (which is always fake). I dont receive information from on high not to be questioned. 10. If there is no God, then why does every society have a religion? Not every society does however most do & that is because of how our brains work. Further the scientific method is a rather recent technology. A couple of hundred years from now I doubt there will be many religious people.
