tomorrow morning 7/14/13 $14.950pp, all you can eat!!! 9am-3pm Well now, it’s time for the old southern favorite, CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS! What could be better than that? We slow cooked our hormone free whole chickens until they fell off the bone, with sea salt, cracked pepper corns, butter and that’s it. We then added a little cream, onion, chopped fresh parsley, and a couple of splashes of hot pepper sauce, all that simmered until it was just right. Adding our homemade biscuit dough to the bubbling mixture was the finial touch. Mmm, mmm, good, don’t ya know! At this whole house we think that seasoned green beans with garlic and butter are the right thing to accompany that yummy chicken and dumpling entrée. Next, we need something fresh and cool for this summer day, like a colorful mixture of fresh raw Kale, Broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Cabbage, Chicory, dried Cranberries, and Roasted Pumpkin Seeds, tossed with a tangy poppy seed dressing. We had this cool salad a couple of weeks ago, and it was such a hit that we were asked to bring it back, soooooooooo here it is. And you all know that we also have stone ground yellow grits, creamy sausage pepper gravy, scramble eggs, and bacon, sliced quiche, and our requested French toast! Oh, I know you are waiting for the fresh fruit pick of the day….big fat farm picked blueberries, bursting with natural juices and married in harmony with the refreshing sweetness of local peaches. AND we have a simple topper of healthy vanilla yogurt. Guess what? Ms. Judy made the homemade vanilla extract that went into the yogurt. We do it right here at TWH, 99% of what we make for you is made in our little kitchen; with the freshest ingredients we can find. The end of our feast begins with hand-held bites of sweetness, a collection of cakes, and cookies. And you ask what’s to drink???? Well, we have over 75 flavors of hot teas, fruit juices, fresh brewed coffee, sodas, hot chocolate, milk, lemonade….and more. Where will you be? We’re be waiting on you!!!
