DJ G.GUZMAN BACKGROUND Originally from Callao, Peru in South America, Gary Garamendi has a history of teaching salsa and merengue in both Liverpool and Manchester. He is also an experienced Latin DJ and appears at salsa events and party nights around the North-West region. He also has an extensive selection of house and commercial tunes for all tastes. Gary has always loved all of the arts and, despite starting out as a singer while in Peru, he turned his attention to dance during the three years he spent in Bogota, Medellin and Cali, Colombia. He became enthralled by the high energy, fast paced steps and routines of Colombian-style salsa and his speciality is now this dynamic form of the dance. Gary has been in the UK for many years and has danced at many venues, including the prestigious Alma de Cuba bar in Liverpool, and has also worked for professional regional dance company Strike. He has also given salsa classes at the popular Spanish/UK fusion restaurant Lunya on occasion. After a spate of Latin DJing at the Saint Petersburg restaurants in both Liverpool and Manchester, Gary began the Latin Revolution! group in 2011, offering services as a Latin DJ, salsa performer and instructor. He has played at La Cubanita in Liverpool and Latin nights at Bem Brasil Liverpool, where his unique style of DJing, incorporating Latin/Brazilian beats with more urban/electronic sounds,. He was later lucky enough to be contracted by the Brazilica International Samba Festival in both July 2011 and 2012 as a Latin DJ to play on their main stage and at their official Carnival Queen Competition in 2011 - a fantastic experience! Each event that Gary plays at (private parties, club nights, weddings etc) also features friendly trained samba dancers to get the party going. So, if you fancy a night of Latin-themed music, energetic samba dancers to enliven your evening, a salsa performance to add some spice to your special event or you fancy learning some salsa/merengue/bachata steps, drop Gary a line! LATIN CALIENTE BACKGROUND DJ Royce aka Jerry David and DJ Martinez aka Martin Martinez have been in the Salsa Scene for about 2-5 years. Having been dancing for that long they are well known in the Manchester Salsa scene and several other cities across the UK. Their love for dancing and Latin Music especially Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and Reggaeton inspired the reasons behind why they have become duo DJs. Bringing in the mix to guests variety of Latin Vibes that keeps dancers on their feet all night long. Both DJs are co-founders of Latin Caliente, the well know brand that organises themed Salsa parties in Manchester. Their style of music is well loved by Salseras and Salseros across the North West of England. Streaming Latin Vibes from Cuba, LA, NY, Puerto Rico, Madrid, Dominican and Angola for all styles of dancing such as, Cuban, Cross Body (Linea), Colombian, Bachateros and Kizomberies is what they are good at. Lastly they are DANCERS so grab them for a dance when they are FREE! DJ IRMITA BACKGROUND DJ Irmita, originally from Santiago de Chile, and now residing in The United Kingdom. As a salsa dee jay, Irma has been swiftly gaining popularity in the North West and surrounding areas and also travels frequently to Chile; where she continues to move the dancefloor! Not only is Irma a renowned salsa dee jay, but she has promoted live Cuban & Latín music for many years and has worked as a support DJ to legendary Salsa bands such as Sierra Maestra, Asere, El Chacon, Dan Den and many more who have performed in Southport.
