two possibly related thoughts when discussing possible solutions i see a lot of people and green™ organisations pointing fingers at the entire human races (newly learned) consumption habits, as opposed to the handful of sociopaths whose ilk have created societies in their image to benefit mostly themselves. call me crazy but i like the idea of fewer enemies to fight, and that the enemy isnt me. also, that the biggest decisions concerning how the world is ordered are being made by and for sociopaths is provable informs my thoughts on what needs to happen. secondly, when discussing societal collapse im astonished at how little attention is being given to the role armies and even mafias are sure to play. its absurd to imagine that organised thugs and murderers would disband as governments fail. indeed that is exactly when they often thrive. well before were either eating one another or tending permaculture gardens in eco-villages, or some combination of both, well armed madmen will have a good number of us on chain gangs and in work camps, growing their food, digging their coal, and casting their bullets so they can fight others like them for whatevers left
