A competitive game from the off as both teams jostled for superiorty ,and by and large both sides were reduced to some long range efforts in the first half . Gowdie gained momentum in the second half and proceeded to pressurise harmonys defence forcing several corners and the keeper into action on numerous occasions ,but with fifteen to play the row took the lead working the ball across the box before drilling a shot into the net , Gowdie responded almost immediatley scott forcing his way inside the left edge of the box and delphly flicking his shot with the outside of his boot just outside the six yard box past the keeper . The momentum was with the gow again but a sucker punch in the shape of a penalty when it looked like the danger had been cleared from a corner ,as the ref seen a foul that he deemed to be worthy of a shot from twelve yards The gowdie continued to try and construct opportunities to equalise in the dying minutes but the pen and some changes seemed to take the sting out of them and the lift the penalty gave harmony carried them on to get an undeserving third on the balance of play .
