update on brother majority of tubes out sun morning passed swallowing- wasup and eating and walking calling mom care apges from sister truly believe the speech has improved some since before surgery. As most know, his communication was about all gone. His speech is slow and has to think it out but the clarity of words has improved. The eyesight is a problem. He can see only if one is covered. The eyes dont work together - only individually. They were talking about an eye patch so he could see to even watch TV. However, the doctors arent to worried yet. Once swelling continues to decrease and rehab - anything can happen!! Hey he was supposed to be brain dead Friday night - think the Lord can work with eyesight!! Daniel called earlier. This evening they will attempt to remove the arterial tube. That is the last tube in his brain that is monitoring pressure on the brain. Everything is looking great on all test results so after he eats dinner they will remove!! When everything goes good tonight and all night (having faith) then it is very possible he will be moved out of SICU department tomorrow!!!!
