uuuugh, nothing has changed in the rescue world, the rescues who take one or two horses win all the contests and get all the big donations because they have all the time in the world to promote themselves and those with 40+ horses get nothing because they are so busy doing 40 times what the other rescue is doing. This is one of the reasons I left rescue. The message is, just do a little bit and make it look like you are doing a lot and they will give you all the money you ever wanted to spend on yourself, your personal animals and traveling so you can go around telling everyone how you are gods gift to the horse world. pathetic and instead of people taking a hard look at what is going on they buy into to the marketing ploys and support the rescue taking in only a couple horses.
