#vent I will never understand WHY anyone would go to other countries to help the needy when in fact we have needy Americans. For instance if you travel to Africa to do charity work, why cant you do charity work in America? Charity: voluntary contributions of help for people in need. Although some Americans may make enough money to pay their bills, maybe they cant afford dental as they need it or go see a doctor when they need it. So why not give back to our American people and while doing that we will keep deadly diseases away too. For instance: AIDS & Ebola. Am I the only one who just doesnt get it?? Why is our government not stopping the traveling, but only suggesting it? 100 doctors went to Africa to help (forehead slap) and either all or most ended up catching Ebola. Now if they were taking the best precautions to not become infected, please tell me again how this is NOT an airborne disease? #ventover
