venting... If you get an insurance policy or your elderly family is getting an insurance policy PLEASE know what you are getting into. These new policies and the sales pitch that goes with is ridiculous. Especially Medicare replacement policies. They tell you your only responsible for a copay ($40, $50 $80 whatever it is). Yes, you do for the doctor visit. Then you may have a copay for each xray you have, a copay for your MRI (oh and its probably $150 to $300 copay) , a copay for your diagnostic test and a co-ins for your DME products. I feel so bad for some of these elderly patients who do not understand it and cant afford all the dang copays. Oh and P.S. I didnt choose your policy and I didnt make up the rules for it so dont be mad at me for passing on your benefit information. Call the people responsible for blowing smoke up your butt. Thanks!
