very interesting conversation with a friend who attended the book signing/release. while speaking with some coworkers these ladies stated men shouldnt be cheap and only willing to spend $50 bucks or less on them. its good to hear this in the thinking thats out there regarding the title. so i offer the clarification: the book is not about the amount of money by no means. the focus of the book is about growing and building a healthy relationship starting from within self. its about listening to your mate and making each day an experience of how much they mean to you. its about the little things, the creative things, those things that after listening to her/him you take the time to do things that are personalize just for them. its about changing the mindsets and paradigms about each other and what kinds of roles we have. so the next question is why should women read the book? 90% of the things in the book can be done by either male or female. the understanding of some of those different mindsets is the first step. we cant accurately expect the man to change his behavior regarding romance into the relationship without some changes taking place from his mate. if you are six months into the relationship and one of the biggest complaints is hes not as romantic as you would like for him to be. then he reads the book and start being more creative and romantic; probably the reaction will be hes cheating. what is he trying to hide? so with the change it must occur from both sides. the section in the book "strictly for the ladies" details quite a bit of some things ladies that must be taken into account inorder for his transformation to be successful. he cant spoil you if you are not receptive to the new him.
