via Catholic Charities of Tulsa: 15 families lost everything from their homes this morning after their apartment building was destroyed by fire. These families are in need of your help. Catholic Charities has helped most of these families find alternate places to live. We are now in need of donations to help these people furnish their homes with the essentials. If you have a vehicle capable of transporting the items directly to the families, we would greatly appreciate it. We are looking for groups, companies, etc., who might have large trucks available to move furniture and household items to help us pick up and deliver donated items. If you have any of these items available to donate or would be able to assist us with pick up and delivery, please call 918.508.7113. If there is no answer, please leave a detailed message with your name, phone number, and how you are able to help, and we will get back with you as soon as possible. We greatly appreciate your donations and your prayers for these families who have lost everything. This week we celebrate our independence, imagine losing your independence overnight and being completely dependent on the charity of others. This is where these families are. Items needed are: Couches Kitchen tables Chairs Beds Pots and pans Dish sets Silverware Queen and twin sheet sets New pillows New towels and wash cloths Blankets Baby items Diapers – sizes 4 and 5 Toys Cleaning supplies Personal hygiene items (Furniture must be in gently-used condition. Please no rips, stains, or bugs.)
