**warning, the following post is not for the easily lead** On the 30th anniversary of the pre-planned assault on the most sacred Sikh shrine, the Sikh nation has finally made it to all major broadcasting channels. After decades of trying to raise awareness and support in the mainstream media; thousands have protested, Sikhs have been placed on death row and thousands of young innocent Sikhs have been killed; we never realised that all it would have taken was for a few suspicious characters to have an altercation in the Harimandir Sahib complex. Reports from Punjab suggest that this event was staged, to merely take the focus of the atrocity that occurred 30 years ago in 1984. Some have even said that these were government employees who werent even Sikh. Nevertheless, regardless of who these individuals were, they have achieved their objective. The Focus of the public and media is no longer on the thousands of innocent civilians killed by the security forces, who were supposed to protect them. They rather write and talk about the clash of swords, and have seem to forgotten about how tanks were unleashed to kill 30 years earlier. The deaths of of over 100,000 has not been mentioned in any news report, neither has the attacks on 38 other gurdwara during operation Blue Star. It is not a coincidence that this event has occurred on one the most important dates in the Sikh calendar. After the revelation of how the British Government supported the Indian Government in their pre-planned attack, many Sikhs who once thought Operation Blue Star was a reflex decision, the truth of the in-depth preparations of the government has led many to show their solidarity towards the Sikhs defending their holy shrine. Our plea to you is not to let our focus of remembrance, justice and freedom be altered by a few suspicious individuals. Rather than talk about the incident that occurred today, take your time out to remember the innocent that were butchered 30 years earlier. Rather that comment on a thread about swords clashing, raise awareness how tanks were used to destroy a holy shrine and kill the innocent in 1984. Finally, lets contact all major broadcasters and ask them to give just as much coverage to the rallies that are taking place all over the world this weekend to ask for justice and remember the innocent. Can we all attend the rallies and programs that are being held this weekend to show support and solidarity towards the path of justice for those innocent souls who were savagely taken from this world.
