... watching this movie and its really hitting me that I lost my childhood cousin/sister Kim, we shared so many dreams and secrets together (our future husbands, Paul and Ben, we told no one but each other) ... plus thinking remember when, plastic covers of couches, leaving your bike on the front lawn was safe, cool and trusting friends, bike riding to the lake, libraries, dinners at the table with everyone, backyards full of fun and games like Red Rover, ice cream restaurants to sit and talk, tree houses, drive in movies, first time kisses, family values and feeling SAFE in communities ..... why did it change?
