we had a great sermon yesterday. It was in acts 18:1-11 the title was through it all, by the way paster sang through it all with the ambassadors, anyway, in acts it shows three promises made by God, His presance, His protection and His potential. Gods plans include always getting us through, we experience a second wind if we push past, when we start asking why thats when we need a second wind. When you need it the most thats when God will speak to you,.God always shows up just in time, He will give you a second wind. Gods presance is a promise, Heb.13:5 the sun is still shining beyond the clouds. God is presant in our battles John 11:35 Jesus wept, he knew he would raise Lazerus but in the meanwhile he wa in the valley with them so he wept. When youre in the valley your on th way to the mountain. We have the promise of His protection. His protection is for you to be able to kee going He will not allow harm to you, when you are harmed youre hindered, when youre hurt you can get over it(put your big girl panties on) yes, the pastor actually said it, giggle. why does God allow us to go through the valey, because he has a purpose so we can help someone else going through the valley. third promise of God is potential. God sees people for what theyre going to be, God sees our potential further than what we can see. We need a spiritual second wind. in Haggai it says be strong for I am with you. everything we face, God can take care of it.
