we had gathered for her birthday/soon her venue will stage its 6th anniversary Tonight all loyal smilers will present themselves -to share a theme of "PREJUDICE!" Standard themes discussed negative stereotypes/limitations of love- borders,walls,barriers,limitations-the way we diminish ourselves in the eyes of others- lovers,friends,acquaintances,enemies.Zen we moved to POSITIVE prejudices- towards harmonies,health,happiness.Energies invested in relationships /building foundations of familiarities extending beyond blood families to a wider world of embracing all with depth,daring and dimension. Then the storm came-we could hear monsoon winds tear at the roof.Some left early, afraid of water rising over shallow crossings.Two made their way to a Motel for the night. Dark skies with cross-stitched lightning .All words were leaves upon the wind. Each departed according to the level of their fear.When we meet again the talk will be of sudden storm survival.Somehow themes change with the wind..
