well I can honestly say I was not anticipating the send off going like that....her daddy balling his eyes out once we got in the door (just a few tears shed at her car after giving ME strict instructions to save the tears for after shes gone cause shes excited but also scared & doesnt need to dicifer whether my tears are tears of joy or sadness.) now how about that! lol! anyways, mako refused to get out of the car. easy little guy I guess got use to being told to get in & finding his spot on all her stuff never knowing how long hed be in the car each time. ha! but ash had all her is dotted and ts crossed & was pulling out for this next adventure in her life right on schedule for her 1pm departure. solo this time. sooo excited but equally scared of the unknown & so many uncertainties ahead. some people want fame & fortune....our girl just wants to FISH!!!! so its just something she HAS to try again so she has no regrets later in life. so where this trip will land her??? we arent quite sure yet. her goal is to work & gain more sea time to get her captains license one day but she knows the road home is never too far & she left her bridges in tact to return, if necessary & resume life in the rat race. but her daddy & i pray this time she finds what shes looking for and has the time of her life!!! told her its gonna be a day by day thing for a while but shes in a much better place emotionally now & prepared for her expenses that will arise with a relocation to a state 19 hours from home. we know she is headed to florida with another place or two as options but only time will tell with this sweet, hard working & driven girl. so for now Ashley Nicole....we love you! this is YOUR time! make every day count so its worth the move & stay strong!!! the sky is the limit for you kid. you dont know how to fail and you give your ALL at everything you do whether you like doing it or not. some days will be harder than others, so far from home & from the ones that love you but you have love and support from all over to help you accomplish this dream! you were made for salt life and the smiles you have on the water are proof! so leave all the questions people have to me & all the judgements behind. you only live once & truth be known we all have a little voice inside us that wish we were as brave & stubborn as you to take on such a challenge. YOU CAN DO THIS so get there, BE SAFE, make good choices, dont depend on anyone but yourself & the LORD & girlllllllllllllllllllllll.......start killing them stanky fish and send your momma some pictures!!!!!! I love you more!
