well friday wasnt so good, lost fire again in top of low gear, rewired ignition , new switch, 2nd pass car left good but veered left and had to lift, saturday first pass , it was haulin the mail, let off around 50 feet from finish line motor was a screamin, went 6.93 @ 193 mph, took 2 degrees of timing out , 2nd pass car left great , shut off about the same place, didnt want to run too quick again , 7.019 @ 182 mph, got 2nd spot on qualifing f0r 4 points, then here came the rain today, was canceled, i ended up 7.0 CHAMP by 4 points over the ace Robbie Freels, had a great season, finally figured this old Hot Rod out , maybe, Thanks for all the help from Leroy, Gordon, Joe, George , Donnie and Hunter, I want to also to thank Pat Freels for his wisdom and opinion the last 3 years of trying to run one of these beast, he always was there to answer a question or borrow a part or to tell me , Leave that top pulley alone !!!l lol, i wanted to race for the title today but the rain decided to give it to me, I feel really Bad for Robbie, his car let him down today, he is a fierce racer, that will just give him more desire to Kick my butt next year !!
