well... i guess it is official now. i am old. any fooling myself ended today. karen, wendi, and i, went to ijams nature center with my camera. it was bad enough the water was low... and dirty, so i didnt get a single good shot. but what made the whole experience all the worse is how my body reacted to the trails. two or three years ago, i could walk circles around most of the people who went into the woods with me. but this trip... well... that is not longer true. my back is aching, my knees are swollen, and my feet hurt like i have been on a 50 mile trek. my dreams of doing more nature and wildlife photography must forever remain dreams, i guess. :(
