well its been almost 6 weeks since we have lived here in beautiful alabama.. we almost gave up a few time and ran back with our tail between our legs.. but we have now overcome that.. got a new house much better then the one we are currently in (it was a nice house to start out with) but now we are going to be in something more perminate, wes should start work soon got alot of job offers.. everything is going to be ok.. i would like to give a special thanks to Jayne E Brooks who girl if it wasnt for you i swear i would have already lost my mind... but we hit a weak spot.. we have overcome it.. with the acception of my step sons wesley and jason.. and what little family and friends i have in michigan nothing and noone else exsists to us no more.. we have/are moving forward.. and to everyone who gave us a few weeks and we would have came crawling back to michigan for what NOTHING i would like to thank you all for being my biggest motivators in life to suceed even more.. and that is what i am doing.. im sorry that you had so much little faith in me that i would fail.. you know i never fail and i never lose... lana loves her school, misses her brothers horribly but she harasses them on skype 100 times a day lol.. its ok they need eachother. lots of pictures, lots of phone calls, lots of skype and facetime.. things will be ok and work themselves out.. we were in search of a better, safer, family life.. well this is it.. funny people up north say they are from the country and live the country life and are country... let me give you an eye opener.. you have no clue what country life is like... when the day comes you have to haul your own water, blood sweat and tears going into just your yard work and helping a complete stranger when your dog tired just to be there when they would be there for you. driving 20 mountain miles to go to the piggly wiggly and making sure you dont forget anything.. to drive back home through the hills, up a mountain, through the woods living on a dead end dirt road.. brush hogging your own land, just cause you own a riding lawn mower dont make you country sorry... common down here you wouldnt last 5 minutes and your mouth would get you bounced down the mountain and a bless your little heart on your way back north ;-) i have never meet a group of people in all my life who are complete strangers who would give the shirt off there backs, and expect nothing in return.. we have done the same here as well.. i am sure there will be many more times as well.. now this is life and living it.. stop watching tv and music videos with the big trucks, brand new tractor/equipment riding.. thats not realistic.. down here we are all common day folks who just live day to day appreciate what we got and not cry about what we dont. all that materialistic stuff as in jewerly, new cars so on and so forth isnt what matters.. yes its nice to have but ill take a few good friends and a bonfire with a bbq anyday of the week over the mall and new rings.. this is the life and i am greatful and thankful that i have been lead into this direction.. started off rough but beginnings are.. i would also like to thank Tonya Osburn for the first step down here.. life is what it is, things happen but we are still family and thats all that matters! but i will say i do miss my mom and dad, brother sister, nephews and neices.. and my handfull of friends who were always there no matter what.. hey atleast i live in a vacation spot lol.. 3 hours from the gulf woohoo... ok well
