well my daughter in law just posted this so thought I would share with my fb friends and families. Well as you all know Margaret has not been well for the past year. First she lost all her hair and found out she has thyroid problem, so medication. 1 month later a higher dose. within the last 6 months she has lost all her hair and been very tired. Then came the rash and intense dry itchy skin, she has eczema. More blood work to find out she has elevated liver levels. We had an ultra sound on her liver normal, only to find she has gall stones but not the cause of her problems nothing to worry about. So high liver levels our primary doctor sent us to Devos in grand rapids to see a specialist. He told us it could be one of two things an immune disorder or enzyme disorder (no scarring yet on this one so good sign there). So more blood work. He said that because Margaret had jaundice as a baby its a precursor of having issues later on in life. Now the wait. If comes back bad we may be headed back to Devos for a liver biopsy, if can be treated by meds we have to go to traverse to see doctors there. Its so hard to feel that because of Margarets rare condition now that she has to see a doctor that they just want to pass her around to study her. ugh. So all my face book family keep Margaret in your thoughts and prayers she will need them ty.
