well surgery on my left thumb went well. Dr had to remove a nodule and cut tendon so that thumb would bend. since my car accident thumb has been locked in place, it was day before accident that dr decided on surgery. it bent slightly until accident. now my hand is bandaged up like a club (picture to follow). Thank you to Tiffany Zwicke and David Zwicke for allowing Clover Rosalind to stay with me and help with Rosie. Thank you to Donna St Louis for all the help with everything else. I couldnt dress, bath, or do anything for first few days. Too much anesthesia had general instead of local, couldnt find veins so out to sleep i went. and that plus two doses of Dilantin for pain in IV stays in system for awhile. Now on oral pain killers, which kept me loopy. But now am doing better, wiggling fingers and thumb. not over doing it. have to see Dr on Tuesday for check. Thank you to my son Dave Sackett for the wonderful sandwich from Rhinelander Kids Korner, chicken melt my fav. Thank you to Peter Sackett and Rebecca Sackett for watching Rosie while I went to Lake Geneva Monday before surgery. There enough typing...
