well this is how day 2 of the new year went. we started off this morning to go watch Rosies basketball game but we got lost and couldnt find the school. we finally found it just as her game was ending so we got some lunch and headed back home (they won by the way) then around 7:45 this evening the storm that wasnt supposed to hit until after midnight surprised us. the lightening was so bright and the crack so loud and the sound of it hitting the transformer in the driveway so loud that I jumped out of my chair yelling oh shit! the house across the street had no power so we waited for the electric company. then we notice their power was back but ours wasnt so we called it in. they came and changed the breaker on our transformer and our power was back....well almost. the computer is fried ( I am on rosies laptop) and there is no electric in half of Rosies room or to the front porch light. sooo guess how we are going to do the rest of the night.
