well today , the last day of my social work, learnt a lot in these 3 weeks from i/m injection to catheterization, identifying murmurs to counseling a TB patients etc overall a great experience . But whats important that i realized in these days is that we as a doctor have a great responsibility on our shoulders.people expect from us a lot and this is there due right . they come to us for to us for the most precious thing in the world i.e life . although we are not the deciders but still a source (a factor to have an important role) . we ought to recognise our responsibility. government has provided us all the facilities in medical college. now its upto us that we should be honest to our profession . we should work harder and harder so that one day we should not have to face embarrassment in front of a specialized doctor and a patient in an OPD. why i m saying all of this is because ihave seen HOs who even can not differentiate between a systolic and diastolic murmur. an electro cardiogram is as familiar to them as to a layman. we want a change but we do not change ourselves so here is a chance for us . Learn , Learn and practice not to acquire marks or to fill pockets but for the sake of lives of hundreds of people waiting for yu to help. regards
