well, today was my birthday. and while it is a special day to me, an even more important day for me was when I was born again in the Lord. it definitely was an important day for me. its a blessed day for anyone. when we accept Jesus as our Savior, and become born again, its an amazing experience. when it happens, you begin to change. when it happens you are filled with the Lords Spirit. when you are saved, you no longer worry about the future, for you know what lies ahead, a future in the kingdom of God. you no have to feel fear, because through Christ you are given hope. before we become saved we may think, Ill never find love. before we become saved we may feel like well never succeed at anything, well never amount to anything. before we become saved, we may feel frequent doubt about our lives, we fear that all that lays ahead is more dissapointment. when you are saved, there is no such thing as the impossible anymore. the day you become saved, when you become reborn through the Spirit of Christ, you gain strength. through Christ we can face tomorrow. through Christ, we know that we can be successful at anything we put our selves to, because He is right beside us, giving us the guidance, strength, courage, and wisdom, to fulfill what we set out to accomplish. when we become born again we become aware that we are meant for greater things, things that, through Christ, we will become. when we are reborn in Christ, we know we will amount to something, we do matter, we have an important purpose,and role, in Gods plan in this world. we can, and will, through the Lord, make a difference in this world. being reborn in the Spirit of Christ means shedding off our old lives, and beginning a new one that promises so much joy for us. It means that we are entering a never ending new life where we will see, and achieve the amazing. it means knowing a love that comes from the Father, which is beyond anything we could ever dream of. being born again is becoming alive for the first time. and that my friends is worth celebrating. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.-Galatians 2:20(ESV) 11 Furthermore, because we are united with Christ, we have received an inheritance from God, for he chose us in advance, and he makes everything work out according to his plan. 12 God’s purpose was that we Jews who were the first to trust in Christ would bring praise and glory to God. 13 And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. 14 The Spirit is God’s guarantee that he will give us the inheritance he promised and that he has purchased us to be his own people. He did this so we would praise and glorify him.-Ephesians 1:11-14(NLT) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.-2 Corinthians 5:17(ESV) For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.-1 Peter 1:23(NLT) 29 He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. 30 Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. 31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.-Isaiah 40:29-31(NLT) He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”-Matthew 17:20(NIV)
