well whats been happening in Sydney this week? The Opera House was opened 40 years ago and there are loads celebrations happening, there is a huge Reg Mombassa mural mounted out side and huge concerts being conducted both inside and outdoors. We went over to Watson Bay today to see the entrance to the harbour and were lucky enough to see HMAS Sydney and RMN KD Jebat sail out to open sea. The main reason for going was the fish and chips at Doyles. Temperature is around 27 and causing great problems with bush fires in the Blue Mountains, you can smell the burning and see the smoke haze even though we are 100 kM away from the source.
