what a day. car broke. $700. am driving a rental. atm ate my visa card. john and i had a fight over tampons and made up again. (dont ask.) am worried about money. i have a little room in the hood. (too much togetherness for me and john.) crackheads and respectables intermingle. everybody is out on porches. music floats through the air. kids running around. my neighbor, 42 years old, has 10 kids and 5 grandkids. she just returned to detroit from some miserable time in mississippi. a couple other neighbors gave me the wifi code so i am facebooking you thanks to them. its like the 1950s outside with some drug addiction thrown in for good measure. went to mcdonalds and an old woman in a black wig asked to borrow my phone and she called her drug dealer. heh. my teevee goes in and out. my 20 years teaching in south central LA is serving me well. im actually kinda happy right now. sunday john gets his other CT scan and MRI. im scared. love you guys. miss my dogs.
