what an amazing 2 weeks on the Independence of the seas , we visited vigo ,Lisbon ,Gibraltar ,Valencia ,Barcelona, Mallorca , Ibiza and Cadiz. It was fantastic to leave home at 11 and eating lunch on board an hour later , no waiting around airports, not sure how anything that big floats! Had a game of darts with former world champion Keith Deller who was on board, nice guy. I ate much to much, drank too much. Got back Saturday and went to see fab local band Coast at the bugle in Botley , sunday woke up early and went down to Lepe at 6 AM for a spot of birdwatching then took mum out for sunday lunch at the compass at Winsor, then today reality came back!
